    From 28 April to 11 June 2023, the renowned international photography festival Fotografia Europea returns to Reggio Emilia. This festival will present a total of ten exhibitions including two by artists from Eastern Europe: Odesa by Ukrainian photographer Yelena Yemchuk and You Will Never Walk Alone by the Poland-based collective Archive of Public Protests (APP).

    The video artwork shows Ukrainian landscapes seen by refugees fleeing the full-scale war. It consists of 12 video screens that capture real-time landscapes, starting from the frontline cities to the stiller West part.

    An Extensive Showcase of Ukrainian Photography in Liverpool in Collaboration with Open Eye Gallery

    Ukrainian. Photographies and Open Gallery in partnership with Liverpool City Region, are working on a massive programme about Ukrainian photography for EuroFestival, which will take over Liverpool in the lead-up to The Eurovision Song Contest. The showcase will include projects of 21 Ukrainian photographers, contributing to the visibility of Ukrainian culture, highlighting the various approaches to photography and telling stories about Ukraine to such a broad audience.

    The exhibition curated by Edi Muka showcases a contemporary sculptural installation of a haystack made by Kosova farmers; a large three screen film flow comprised of 150 images that was edited by Jim Boulton; and a special sound piece composed for the exhibition by Professor John Young.
